Suntech begins manufacturing solar panels in Goodyear, Arizona.

Manufacturers are taking full advantage of Arizona's tax incentives. China-based Suntech began operations today in Goodyear.

Governor Brewer was at the opening and welcomed Suntech to Arizona: "The goal was to bring renewable energy to Arizona, and it is working.”

$10 millon dollar solar project proposed for Gilbert, Arizona.

California-based SPG Solar "is offering to build a $10 million plant at no cost to taxpayers and then sell the energy back" to the Town of Gilbert, Arizona.

Arizona's First Solar announces big increase in orders for 2011.

Arizona-based First Solar is thriving along with the solar industry.

Today First Solar announced "it has signed agreements with seven key customers for a 380 megawatt increase in orders for 2011 over previously announced volumes."
